Chemist/pharmaceuticals

Shapes fill my mind,

subatomically created.

And somehow, I find,

this is all I've ever wanted.

When I think love,

oxytocin fills my mind.

Then when that child is dying,

crying,

trying.

FIghting through the chemo.

I will be making the drug that saves,

the drug that makes all the sickness go away.

And then they'll have a chance.

And live longer than my father did.

No one will ever have to see,

Love die within their reach.
