Chemistry

I fear commitment, and it's all your fault.

You were the one I had loved, and yet you,

we couldn't figure out the simple want,

need for each other. But what can you do?

The lust was magical and enthralling,

longing for your voice, the electric touch.

The chemistry between us was sparkling,

shocking us, our hearts ready to erupt.

The time I had committed to your needs,

the time I had committed to our spark.

When I had led on others for you, these

thoughts that we'd overcome fear, become one.

Now you have left me, I miss you. But my

heart opens for those who actually love

me.
