Cherished Memories Overshadowed
Twenty-four hours in a day. Sixty minutes in an hour. Sixty seconds in a minute. Frequently, an abundant amount of time still appears little to us. This massive world is packed with engaged crowds of people in all directions. With precious time ticking on the clock, we tend to neglect the trivial and often times substantial things in life. It is beneficial to value these moments considering that they lead to the pleasure gained by our heart. Cherished memories overshadowed will never be relived once more. Seize the day and capture those split seconds so the future accompanies no remorse. Recollections such as the following…
Everlasting encouragement and teachings of morality arising out of parents
Attached high school occasions among friends
Insight bestowed through teachers
Sharing inside jokes from childhood with cousins
Obeying older brother’s convenient recommendations
Lengthy evening family gatherings brimming with meals and conversations
Celebrating Indian holidays with enthusiasm
Encounters with diverse individuals and witnessing sparkling smiles on unfamiliar faces
Restlessness during the first tennis match
Butterflies fluttering in the stomach in the course of class speeches
Relishing subjects of science for an enhanced perception of the medical field
Revealing sentiments of emotion through words of poetry
Walking for the sensitivity of serene surroundings and a stimulating mind
Accumulating cards for the flashbacks of past recollections
Searching for cloud configurations in the sky resembling multiple objects
Mastering the long-lasting staring contests
Lights going out and forsaking the area with complete darkness
Startling reactions from approaching storms
Unexpected snow days with no school and vigorously awaiting extended weekends
Summer vacation in magnificent Switzerland identical to heaven
Adventurous thrill of skydiving and zip lining
Black, lavish future car of Mercedes situated outside on the driveway
Purchasing a marvelous house visualized in dreams
Wishing at the sight of a shooting star
Praying to God early in the morning and thanking Him for the gift of a remarkable life
