Cherry blossom tree

Light pink blossoms fly

and the wind lifts them higher

petals drift away

the tree is lacking

it's beautiful cherry

blossoms.

I am currently a high school junior In a small town and a county that is often mispronounced. I don’t write as often as I used to due to how fast I’ve had to grow up which in turn has left me little free time. Poetry is not particularly a passion of mine but I recognize it’s art and I do enjoy it. Poetry is a rather wide literature subject and I haven’t found a part I don’t like.
