Cherry Picker

Pull heartstrings while you pull Hamstrings,

Make me feel your presence in it's entirety.

Lungs aren't full enough for you to linger this long, but

I don't care if you don't, and

You never really cared much.

In hindsight, I should've seen it coming;

I was too worried about the marks

Left where collars meet owners

Not noticing those in my chest.

If only there was a way to smell you again.

If only there was a way to stop wanting to smell you again.

I'm sorry;

      I ruined you when I ruined myself
