Chicken Nugget Mountain

The ominous “M” loomed above me As the Clown beckoned at his knee. The grimy floor smelled of cleaner And the cashier couldn’t have been meaner As flies danced a jig in a jamboree. We rode through the waves of Sweet Tea And opened boxes unconsciously. Steam exuded in thick streamers As we climbed Chicken Nugget Mountain The Breading was soft and easy, Even if it made us slightly queasy. We wouldn’t be leaving any leaner. The ranch had an oily sheen, her Eyes looked on hungrily As we climbed Chicken Nugget Mountain
