Child

I'm sorry I'm not perfect

It's not my fault

I'm not your perfect child

Your perfect daughter

I'll never live up to what you want

I'll never be good at what you're good at

And I'll try as hard as I can

And I'll fight like a warrior

But I'll never get to where you want me to be

I'll get to where I want to be

It's a better place than the one you have in mind

So I'm chosing my own reality, my own fate

Not the fantasy world you choose to create
