Child

I am a child born into hate and despair I wander alone with no one to care No one loves me You are a child born out of love I'm always right here, is that not enough? Child, I love you I am a child physically and emotionally abused Everything I need and want is refused No one loves me You are a child I gave my son for I give you so many blessings, do you want more? Child, I love you I am a teenager lost in my dreams There's no one around to hear my screams No one loves me You are a teenager chasing false dreams It hurts my heart when I hear you scream Child, I love you I am a teenager yearning for life Instead I find myself holding the knife No one loves me You are a teenager yearning for more Open your eyes, that's what I'm here for Child, I love you I am an adult confused and scared Three kids, no husband, no one to care No one loves me You are an adult confused and scared Don't lose hope, I'm always there Child, I love you I am an adult full of worry and stress My check pays the bills leaving nothing left No one loves me You are an adult full of worry and stress Pray to me and I'll take care of the rest Child, I love you I am old and tired and full of regret Looking back on life, my eyes grow wet No one loves me You are old with a past full of lies Yet, I'm still always there to wipe your eyes Child, I love you I am old and sick and wish life to end But even in death my heart won't mend No one loves me You are old but time is still young Even in death, I'll be your one and only love Child, I love you
