I am a child of God

Happy to be living

With a soul full of joy

And a passion for giving

Lifting up his glorious name

Singing with the angels

For I am free from shame

Saved by the acts of Christ

Sent out into the broken world

To be a guiding light

Sealed with His mark

The Holy Spirit living within

A radiating love in the dark

I am a child of God

Chosen to be set apart

Holy as He is holy

To be kind and pure of heart

Given knowledge and wisdom

To share with the world

Until the coming of His kingdom

I am a child of God

Blessed from Him above

With all things in the heavenly realm

And with unconditional love

Sharing Christ's crown

Heir to the throne

God's bride in a wedding gown

I am a child of God

Redeemed and forever free

Only by His grace

Can I truly be me
