Child of Indifference

Tue, 02/19/2019 - 14:08 -- KMiles

During my glory moments

You are not there.

During my breaking points

You are not there.

During my life

You are not there.

You have claimed to raise mec

But how can one raise a stranger?

Do I look the same to you now?

Do I look the same as you have always pictured?

Have you ever truly noticed me?

I believe if you would have

You would have seem me for what I truly am.

Not a child who is too aftraid to fight back

But a child who is too honorable.

That scared child you knew did

So long ago.

Did you mourn for me?

Did you even notice?

Do you still see her today?

Do you search for her

In the person standing

In front of you?

Unable to say

Where she had gone?

Me
My family
