Child No More

I stood back and smiled as a small figure looked at me from a small hill and

it looked at me and smiled back then gave a little wave. As I walked forward and reached

out towards the figure the ground suddenly started to crumple from below the small figure

I ran towards it and grabbed it's hand only to realize that I have grabbed my own hand

but it was smaller. She smiled at me and said, "Goodbye my friend." and faded away

as the grpund crumbled away completely. I was falling slowly but I wasn't falling

I could see all my friends aging along with me until my feet touched the ground,

a smile formed on my lips as I looked up and whispered, "Until next time my friend."
