A Child Speaks

*A child speaks, Listen!* Listen to that child He calls you by your name It may not sound the same Cos that's the best he knows Listen to that child Who crawls while others walk He'd love to run and play Why don't you find a way Listen to that child Who lives far from your world Cos you made him to feel He doesn't belong here Listen to that child Help him reach the sky He's a blessing to you and I Let's embrace the gift we have Listen to that child And be patient when you do For you will find in him The treasures of the world Listen and you'll find A hand that wants to mould A heart the loves to grow A child that wants to show 🥳 *He's the same* Dedicated to all children with Special needs Hurrah The Poetic Educator ©️ 2021
