Childhood

A time of innocence. A time of bliss. Childhood is a time I surely do miss. Ruled by sunshine; the purest of light. Even my night-light could defeat the night. When who's "it" was our biggest strife. When our dreams alone were larger than life. All we knew was as far as we could see That's why we dug holes and climbed through trees. Being a kid was the best thing yet. But now as I touch behind my ear, I do not feel the wet. I don't wanna grow up, But grow up I did. Man, I'd give anything to just be a kid.
