Childhood

I remember back then I never wanted to sleep

all I did was eat

pick fights with my little brothers and sisters

Now I would die to get some sleep

to have food without the price behind

To stay away from fights to better myself

I wish if life was simple again all of the nightmares gone

to have a good relationship with my mom and dad

to depend on someone again

life is tough it always has been

as you grow older we all realize what our parents had to deal with while we sat there like peaceful troblesome kids

life is beautiful it just depends on how we take it all in.
