Childhood

Being only three years old Waking up without my mother or father there but to be in a different city Leg casted Ballons and flowers around your hospital room Not knowing what would come next Finding out your sister is clinging on to life To only die twice Miracles do happen But with a miracle comes changes At only three No more childhood for you At only three To have to learn that you're not your parents main focus anymore At only three To have to grow up without vacations At only three To have to take depression medicine At only three To have to grow up knowing you couldn't experience what other children had Now 18 and wishing that if that childhood had came maybe you'd have been different But now realizing that this has built you into the strong person you are today may have been worth it...
