Childhood

Can I walk those old roads

Back to when my only ambition

Was to be happy

When my dreams were free of restraints

When the only feeling I had

Was Naughty and Naughty

When the affairs of this world

Didn't weigh on me

When expectations were nonexistent

When my imaginations were boundless

When I knew true affection and warmth

When God actually did walk with me

When wishes and dreams do come true.

Can I walk those old roads again

To the days of my Childhood.
