Childhood is a Dream

Childhood is a beautiful dream,

that we never wake up from.

Its a vision of happiness,

A never ending reassurance,

That everything will be okay.

We spend our entire lives trying,

To figure out the mystery,

that some call our childhood.

We may try and try,

to figure out this mystery,

Until the day that we die.

For there is no answer ,

To the mystery of our childhood.

A dream that we always remember,

Like a flower in the snow.

Its dream that we never forget,

No matter how much we want to let go.

We need to hold on tight,

to these memories, that don’t last forever.

At the time it may seem arduous,

But in the end it’s glorious.

We must cherish these moments,

Because one day we’ll wake up and

We won’t be kids anymore.

Which is why we must cherish our childhood,

While we are still young enough to enjoy it.
