Childhood Dream

Years may pass

All I see is this one dream

This huge stage

While the stoplights shine down on me

And I get ready to sing

Before I do,

I pray for this chance

That I've been waiting for ever since I was a kid

To tell that little girl that this was it

Everyone was going to hear me sing

And all I could think in that moment was

I had everything I always dreamt of
