Childhood Lasts


you'll never know

when the last time you'll sleep between you're parents

when the last time you'll color in a coloring book

when the last time you'll be scared of the monster under your bed

 

you'll never know when your childhood will end

mine ended at the realization

that i never cherished these lasts.
