Childhood Love

So many chances and second glances Childhood love passes summer's gentle breeze Passing and fading as the years go by Laughter ringing all around in the wind. Dreaming of a future, gazing at stars Laying in the grass looking at the sky Wishing that this time could last forever Growing distant as time moves ever on Sneaking glances when our eyes are away Our eyes never meeting one another Pleas within hoping it is not goodbye Forever are we doomed to never meet Dancing through life around one another Constantly wishing for what could have been?
