Childhood Memories

Riddle me this as I reminisce

my care free childhood aimless quest

Responsibilities had none had no clue

just milling around malingering doing anything new

In by dusk as the street lights came on

finished my school assignment which was no fun

Cleaned up had dinner then it was off to bed

got to rest my weary head

Poetry is an anomaly words inclusive to not only me, but for each and every spirit to set themselves free.
