Childish desires
What are the desires of a child?
Do they not wish to run wild?
In the meadows, in the trees,
By streams and flowers,
Captivated for hours.
My dear little Thumbelina,
Childlike in beauty and innocence.
Do not give into the charms of men,
Rather put them aside,
There is more still to learn
And not enough time to lament.
Your girlish heart was stolen
And your youthful gaiety all the same.
Come back dear child.
Your youth is not yet spent.
Mature and grow,
You are better off then you know.
