The children of conflict
ππTHE CHILDREN OF CONFLICT ππ
............ πππ.... POEM.... πππ
As i was sitting at my window,
In a pensive and sober mood,
Busy in day dreaming, then a cry,
I heard from nowhere, what i saw?
For away i behold a Crowed running,
Smoke chasing them with gun shots,
Some stumbling, a few staggering,
Some wiping tears, others weary badly,
Behind them a troop of soldiers with,
Healmets over head, guns and clubs,
In hand, rebuking, abusing, at the crowed,
Which was off handed praying for lives.
Till they reached a near by wooden bridge,
Under which a shallow channel at speed.
Then, i saw, two children in the crowed,
Age six to four, weeping, running laggardly,
Suddenly, something hit the child's head,
The physical force led him into the river !
Other one, of four stampeded, trampled!
Oh! I saw a woman, crying, in ragged cloth,
Jumped over the dead child,screaming,
Looking around for his next, the only hope,
But, oh! He too was afloating in the riverπ°!!
