Children of Haiti

Look to the dark sky for hope.

Feel the child holding your hand and don't let go.

Hear the drums beat louder and louder.

Praise God for the rain and thunder.

Look at the children crying.

Not out of pain but out of love.

Look at how they have nothing.

Yet they offer everything.

Feel the rain shower down on your face.

It brings joy yet pain.

Feel the beat of the drums.

Let them move through your body and into your heart.

Hear the shouts of the children.

Thanking God for the rain.

Hear the screams of woman.

Homes are being destroyed.

Praise God for the rain.

It washes away the sin.

Praise God for the children of Haiti.

For they are the hope when there is none.
