Children of the Night
Oh, sweet child of the night.
Adorned with eyes, star-soaked bright.
Melodies whistle through gapped teeth, moon-white,
Born from the love of a maiden, sweet child of this night.
Oh, this night,
bearing secrets in spite,
of the love that washed the child,
The child of tonight.
Oh, those secrets,
They die with the sunlight-
Never reaching our child,
Sweet child of the night.
