Child's Bliss

The sound of trains erupt around myself.

My place of joy oh boy sublime with toys.

I wait beside the painted gate now white,

The glowing bay how gay I am today.

I sit, I skip, I sing, I play and play,

I care to glance, to dance, a child’s romance.

The time but stops for babies, new to life.

My life’s bookshelf, itself, a single shelf.
