A Child's Growing.

A little child, free and full of hidden heart. The wood-brown hair that fell over dark eyes. That serious gaze, full of little worries. That time has said its final goodbyes. Growing up, a life so intensely felt. Loneliness seemed to echo in a mind. Yet underdeveloped, insecure, alone. Peace she had yet to find. Thought came and she learned to defend. Her mind's castle from the army of pain. Pleasures unknown, of life and world. Rose then her light, from where it had lain. Her soul's moon rose, often obscured by clouds. She saw the music with the noise in every sound. Learned she control over thoughts and desires. Light long lost, she then found. Away from people, in waking dreams. She sought the fantasy of love. With all things eternal or so it seems. "Beyond the dark, there are stars above." She herself became a star, that ever beams.
