Chill

We gather

It's starting again

A shiver, a chill

Runs up my spine.

In come the players

One, two, three

Rushing in to

Their show

Swoosh

Their feet  swim

Over ice as

Clear as Mirrors.

It Starts.

Time rushes from

The heels of

Their skates.

The cool of

The Ice sweeps

Over my face

Awakening an

Aroma of Memories

Past.

I smile.

Score!

As if

Given a

Silent Command,

We stand and

Chant our

Battle cry.

The game is

Over.

Until next

I get

The Chill
