Chills go down my spine;
Chills go down my spine;
my hairs stand up on end;
my skin sensitive to the touch;
my heart alert for any sign of pain.
Like every other time, it blinds my eyes from truth, and cripples my mind from reason,
but it cannot take the fear that comes with the passing of each day.
It wants me, I know. What a tease!
It embraces me and then pushes me away....
Oh, yes! love and I know each other well.
