Chips

Revelation 13:17 New English Translation (NET Bible)

17 Thus no one was allowed to buy or sell things unless he bore the mark of the beast—that is, his name or his number.

Chip

A “chip” in my flesh will show the world,

through a satellite my location

It will also prove to be that source

to mark my own damnation.

The time is close and the choice is near

to be “chipped” or to be free.

And without the “chip” you can’t get

food or job, and that will motivate fear.

I wonder if you can join a church

without that “chip” in your being.

Or when you’re sick and hospital-bound,

will that “chip” enter without seeing?

So “chipper” up is not good advice

and when the chips are down,

start crying for this is at the door,

don’t fool yourself, you clown.
