Chlorine

Transparent blue where numb limbs dance,

Stringless, free, levitating hands.

Small fish in a small pond,

Ripples a purposeless body along.

Purposeless but stable with a means,

But blinded by the ponds chlorine.

Sightless by stinging chlorine,

Sightless by impractical dreams.

What distorted chlorine eyes see,

A blue sky where the sun will never be.

Hot air dreams will rise,

Doubters say get the chlorine out your eyes.
