chocolates and flowers
Don’t you ever confuse love for fulfillment in emptiness
Don’t you ever confuse love for laughter
Don’t you ever confuse love for compliments
Don’t you ever confuse love for flowers and chocolates
If you took all of those away you would feel lighter
If you took all of those away you will retrieve time
If you took all of those away you will gain a friend
In yourself
In yourself you will find insecurities
In yourself you will find fear
In yourself you will find the answer
To who you are
Why you need fulfillment
Why you need laughter
Why you need compliments
And why you don’t need flowers and chocolates
