The Choice

I have to make a decision.

Light or dark?

Pure and calm or wild and free?

Mild naturality or carefree recklessness?

When the rain pours down and the fire flames

the wicked approaches, but

when the wind blows softly the faultless life returns.

Which will I be?

The bright sun of happiness

or the dark moon of insurrection.

My family’s fate lies in my hands.

Once the moon rises the decision will have to be made

and only one side can prevail leaving the other behind.
