Choice Is Mine

The world that i once seen was an ugly place to me, To always feel the hope for the father doing dope, The hope that it was really, only just a joke. A joke that it was not, the pain never forgot weighed as heavy as a rock. But push the pain away, forget the past you see, open your eyes to a world that can be as beautiful as you want it to be. Just try to believe, believing is all we have, I could have taken that beaten path, but the path i now see, is so very beautiful to me.
