"The choice is up to you."

The choices were laid before me.

Was I to stay?

Was I to go?

Was I to keep going on the path that was set out before me?

To navigate each day with ease?

To know that life was set and certain?

Or

Was I to take the risk of standing apart and be called the black sheep?

To travel a road taken by few?

To know that life was going to change?

The choices were laid before me.

Was I to stay?

Was I to go?

That’s when they said: “The choice is up to you.”
