The Choice is Yours

A noose, a knife, a jar of pills, a gun

The fear of life, the fear I’m not strong enough to hold on

Things have gotten too bad to continue living

Though I look into my mother, brother’s eyes so loving I must continue on

The journey that is life

Through this fear, I have caused so much strife

I have decided I must make a choice

The devil and angel on my shoulder

Fear and courage

I choose to be courageous

I choose to leap into shark infested waters

To get what I want out of life before my short existence ends

Everyone must choose between their devil and angel

Do you let fear control you, or do you let courage take the wheel?

The choice is yours.
