Choices

As I continue to take my time

This only gets harder

As my thoughts begin to wander

My heart gets softer

These two beautiful creatures in front of me

And yet I don't know which to choose

With one being picked

And the other not used

One on hand I have a dove

White and beautiful with everything

I enjoy it a lot

As i have come to know it

With my heart it has fought

I'm stuck

On the other hand

I have a swan

Elegant innocent and beautiful too

Has a personality that is not see through covered in mystery

And sometimes shadows

But alas

My inner thoughts are my main foes

I have two beautiful beasts coming in contact with me

Never had I had this opportunity

To have a choice so bold and maybe foolishly so i'm left lost

In a world of thoughts

Black sky white floor

Only counter arguments grouped in arrangements

And i look down and no words are present at my feet

Yet only the pictures of the dove and the swan lay there tight and neat

And i fall to my knees and look at the closely to find the imperfections

Yet nothing came up in my inspections

I'm lost in there eyes with bold reflections

In these reflections are different worlds

With different stories coming out of both

And i am looking into each astonished

At how futures can possibly differ from one eye to the next

In one I have a good time

With this bird each day I climb

In my own happiness

It makes me smile

It makes me laugh

It makes me forget about my past

It shows me how true a person can be

How loyal and delicate with pure honesty

In the other though it's not much different

Except it lasts longer and changes i'm seeing it

You see i am now starting to see consequences to both

How what i do would affect me and the people I hang out with and my future

One can ruin a friendship actually both can

One I knew for a while one just came on in

One I have been talking to and one not so much

Both are just fantastic and both are at all not

Horrible in any sense of the word

Choices only getting harder

Whenever I talk to the swan

It talks back to me

And so does the dove but a little differently

It is interested in me and what i have to say

And so is the dove but as intensely por say

So I have a choice to make

Choices they only get harder

Whenever I talk to the dove

It hears me right

So does the swan but not as quite

It knows what i'm saying and understands me

It looks at me and says I'm here for you g

So does the swan but not as often you see

So i have a choice to make

Choices they only get harder

When i look at the swan

I see beauty

I see pure unfiltered beauty

No makeup needed

No extra stuff

Just the swan

Natural

When i look at the dove

I see beauty

I see beauty that if was unfiltered would still be beauty

I'm lost

Choices they only get harder

The truth is I have built a relationship with both

Both the swan and the dove are my friends

And idk how I should act or what i should do

The swan is leaving soon and I think she likes me

But the dove is here to stay but if I do something or don't do anything I could ruin things

I don't know what to do

Both are amazing people and friends

And maybe they don't want anything at all

But that's not what i'm seeing

Dawn I choose you
