Choices

Sometimes life puts us in rough spots

with no place to go in the face of bad luck

sometimes you feel worthless, scares, lonely, and sad

lost in a world you think has gone mad

but life has a tendancy to work out in the end

but it is dependent on you and the choices you lend

you can play the game of bad decisions and self pity

that is dependent on drugs in the street of a city

or you can play the game of redemption and make yourself better

and prove that you are worth more than the bad full of bitter

you can sit at home with a bottle all by yourself

or you can go out of your way to help someone else

you can Refuse to get better and let your mind win

or you can fight the war of life and win in the end.
