Alone

But am I?

Not with Him

                               I am happier

                 I am not worried

I need not fear

Some girls

Spend hours

Internet stalking

Creeping on

             "cute" boys

Where is the depth?

I need only one person to

"creep on"

I need only one way to

"stalk" Him

He sent me a book

Over a thousand pages

Covering over a thousand ages

Rich words

To enlighten

To strengthen

To calm the raging

                       sea

                           inside of

                                   me

Without these words

I am            nothing

Doubt is me

Faith is nowhere

Hope n

           o

             n

               existent

I am never alone

But if I am

There is only one place

                                     to t

                                     u

                                r

                         n

              Where nobody else does

They laugh at,

mock,

call you a bigot for following His

words created

for but the opposite of such prejudice

                                                                                 narrow-mindedness

but I know

               the genuine truth

isn't always found where everybody else looks

Where society points

with giant,

neon arrows

saying go        here --

or die trying

It is not survival

I am after

No

It is to thrive

To thrive

I must read His comforting words

I must follow His

                   controversial

                   passages

I must sacrafice

myself

            for Him

                         and His love

Because,

at the end of the day

isn't that

what we are all          after,

                                           Love?

This book of love

This one true testament of

                          die-for-us affection

I could never live without

Thin, lined pages of                  promise

Written words of faith

                                   hope

                                           love

An affirming v o i c e

The saving choice
