Choosing a major


I watch the fearless birds The vivacious beetles The aloof owls I observe the zealous ants The placid flowers The predestined caterpillars And they watch me What do they see? Can they sense my indecision My fears, my hopes Can they feel my wavering And insecurities? I keep walking And pretend I too know my purpose
