Choosing Me

I use to be so care free

Never thinking about what my life may be 

Choosing things in that moment and never thinking about what life can come to be.

I use to trust and care what people would say

But now i regret that in so many ways

All the lies that were told to make me feel like i was just an illusion.

Hurt, pain and just a lot of confusion.

So much time spent dealing with regrets.

That i to sit back and really reflect.

Now today i am stronger woman who doesn’t care what people say.

Fearless in so many ways.

I choose not to regret any of my actions and love through it all with so much compassion. You tried to break me but you made me much stronger.

Made me realize that all love can last and be longer .I love the woman i have become.

Stronger each and every day in so many ways that now i just see you as epiphany that made me even stronger today.
