Choreography of life

Nature is a choreographed dance

Lined up in formation, it moves in harmony

The planets waltz around the sun

Twirling, whirling

The wind sings; the grass sways

The tide moves, it’s pulled to the groove of the moon

As the sun’s spotlight fades, and the world grows dim

A disco ball throws its starlight onto the world

Illuminating

A dance profound in its simplicity

Whereas people are a frantic mess

Coming and going, each at their own pace

Too soon someone strikes the wrong chord

Complications, situations

He says stop; she says go

What to do, when you’re pulled in two directions

Unable to distinguish between up and down

Confusion colors your soul; you want to do right

But you wish you knew

Just what it is that life is demanding
