Chosen
The smell of horrid fresh paint.
the sight of a friends episode, blarring through the condescending tv.
the sound of the overly loud vaccum going up and down his aunt's halls.
the confused state of a adoloscent child with naive thoughts.
the hateful indivdual who took his innocence away.
the errie feeling the boy felt as he was guided to an unknown and miserable place.
the gleaming insecurity of this hurtful deviant.
and then a knock! It was time to vaccum the attackers room.
this boy's aunt was to trusting to believe anything "bad" was going on.
but the damage was done.
the young boy. turned into a young man but his haunting past followed him like poltergeist.
he let his demons eat him alive, and contemplated giving in so he could sleep peacefully.
every night he dreamnt of the individual and his heinous act.
as the boy tried to rid himself of dirt and destruction, he was only met with more.
until the day he opened his heart to the only man he ever trusted.
once the secret was out, the relief was ever present.
he smiled again, he played again, he even learned to forgive again.
the smell of jubilant freshly picked roses.
the sight of an episode of the office comically blaring through the tv.
the sound of a loving family and stronghold in his life.
the feeling of calming and security to a young boy who was chosen for bigger things.
