Chosen

So few flowers in a forest of weeds,

reaching out and causing intrigue,

different from the flock a unique seed,

grasping my interlockings of personal deeds,

I become bored with the masses, undesirables to me

not one of a kind but one to me,

the flowers tainted in a pile of debris,

modernization has halted them from towering free,

unable to shine as nature should be,

they die without none to see,

wilting in beauty as it gloriously fades,

the day it is plucked will be the day of days.
