Chosen by myself

Romans 9:21 New English Translation (NET Bible)

21 Has the potter no right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special use and another for ordinary use?

Satire

I am a chosen vessel just chosen by myself.

I follow my own direction to places I designed.

I am sure for certain that this will be my calling.

I will wind up reasonably in thought that I refined.

I paved my own pathway and lined it with desires.

I travel all by myself in the blazing sun.

The heat that I attract is to show my suffering

as I put my life on the line for my own over-run.

Self-made I am and will be for a price for admiration.

In my fake humbleness, I bow down from the waist.

My appearance shows an ongoing invitation

to join me in my emptiness always in a haste.
