Chris

Deemed heinous by the state

Forever this shall stay on your slate

How does it feel?

Everyone you proclaimed was “real”
has left you all alone

They’re not going to call, stop waiting by the phone

Come on kid, wake from your fantasy

So you can see that all that’s left is family

You’re 18 had your whole life ahead

But you were too worried about your “street cred”

Take a look around

For the next 25 this’ll be your safe and sound

Ruined your chances of becoming something great

But maybe you can turn it all around in this six by eight.
