Christian Boy

Bleak was the day I thought of you

A somber weight tugging at my heart

When I think of your perfect face

I feel flowers blooming inside

Making my heart pound when I think of

Your deep and black smoke voice

And when I remember

You greeted me

Followed by my name

There is a sorrowful joy

Happy to hear your voice

Meant for my ears

Wishing you’d say more

Wishing to hear your voice again

Wishing to see your face again

I think of the day you hugged me goodbye

On the beach by the lake

It was the first and last time

You touched me

Wishing the memory was real again

And wishing you knew how I felt

Scared because I know

You don’t feel the same way

Why should you?

I’m not perfect like her

She walks like an angel

No competition

She is perfect and I am not

But no one will ever be as perfect as you are to me
