Christmas

Dear Christmas, How are you? I hope you've been well. The whole world anticipates that great day. The day you walk in, carrying beautifully wrapped gifts in neatly tied boxes. I can't wait to perceive your freshness, the scents of newness, as life exudes from you. The children are beginning to sing their songs, the drummers are setting their instruments, the choristers are warming their voices. Your appearance is drawing the crowds, we can't wait to receive you. Can you tell those boys that Christmas is more than parties and clubs. Can you tell those ladies that Christmas is not all about hair and makeup. The desire to be seen, noticed or spoken about. I'm sorry we have forgotten the real meaning towards what you originally represent in our hearts. This what not what you thought about, when the birth of our Savior beautified the earth. I can see the beauty in your rhythm as you perfectly aligned the day of his birth. It's two night to your return. The whole world is silent. There's no rush, there's no fight. We are ready to receive your love as you pour it out on us. We will also reciprocate this love as we share it out to others. This is what you taught us, this is what your birth represents that we love others as you love us. Your faithfully. Your biggest fan. Lyht Speaks.
