Christmas Eve

It’s Christmas Eve, we’re all excited For tomorrow, no one is frightened. We’re shopping at stores for last minute things Before we hear the church bells ring. When we are home and done with shopping The carrots and cucumbers we are chopping. Christmas music we listen to and sing While we’re waiting for the oven to ding. We cut our cookies in decorative shapes Then to the fireplace our stockings we take. We go to church for Christmas Eve service We hear the silver bells ring just perfect. The Christmas lights we let shine bright Before we get tucked in to bed at night. Tomorrow will be a glorious day We can’t wait for it to come our way.
