Christmas Galore

Waking up knowing mom was right Shaking dad until he's vile Can't wait to open that new kite Sprinting down the stairs with sight Of Santa giving gifts, gives me a smile Waking up knowing mom was right The glittery gift wrap gives me a fight But once it's off, it's in a pile Can't wait to open that new kite That Barbie kite shined so bright I wanted one so bad, I couldn't wait even a while Waking up knowing mom was right The kite had a lot of flight it was in the air, higher than a mile Couldn't wait to open that new kite I held the kite string tight Showing it off in style, Waking up knowing mom was right Couldn't wait to open that new kite

I was thinking about my childhood Christmas's while writing this poem.
